Candle Care

Every Studio Nandar piece is hand-poured with love, right here in Calgary.
A little care goes a long way in keeping your candle beautiful and safe to enjoy.
Here's everything you need to know.

 🕯️ Before You Light

• Remove all packaging, tags, and any decorative wrap before burning.
• Trim the wick to about 1/4 inch before each light. This keeps the flame steady and prevents soot.
• Set your candle on a flat, heat resistant surface away from anything that can catch fire.

 🔥 While It Burns

• For the first burn, let the wax melt all the way to the edges of the container or base. This creates an even melt pool and helps prevent tunneling later on.
• Burn for no more than 3 to 4 hours at a time.
• Keep your candle away from drafts, fans, and direct sunlight so the flame burns evenly and the wax doesn't warp or fade.
• Never leave a burning candle unattended.

 ♡ Caring For Your Bouquet

• Our candle bouquets are delicate by design. Handle the blooms gently, especially around the petals and stems.
• Store your bouquet upright, in a cool spot out of direct sunlight, when it's not on display.

 ⚠️ Safety First

• Never leave a burning candle unattended, even for a few minutes.
• Keep candles out of reach of children and pets.
• Burn on a stable, heat safe surface, never on or near anything flammable.
• Always extinguish your candle before leaving the room or going to sleep.
• Leave at least 2 inches of wax at the bottom of pillar and taper candles before discontinuing use.
